Hello and welcome!

I’m a passionate fourth-year PhD student at the Center for Renewable Carbon at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My advisor is Mi Li. My research focuses on the sustainable and innovative development of functional materials derived from cellulose biomass.

As a chemist and materials scientist, I specialize in chemical characterization, material synthesis, and chemical computation. My expertise spans a variety of techniques, including X-ray scattering, morphology characterization, NMR, DFT, and molecular dynamics simulations. I have a particular proficiency in organic polymers and inorganic nanoparticles. Here is my CV.

I am expected to graduate in Summer 2025 and am actively seeking postdoctoral opportunities.
